DESCRIPTION:International Women's Day is a global celebration observed annually\, dedicated to honoring the achievements and contributions of women throughout history and contemporary society. It serves as a platform to promote gender equality\, raise awareness about women's rights\, and highlight the need for continued progress towards a more inclusive and equitable world. Join us in recognizing the social\, economic\, cultural\, and political achievements of women\, and advocating for a future where all individuals\, regardless of gender\, can thrive and succeed.\n\n\n\n2026 Theme\n\nThe official theme for this year is "Balance the Scales\," which emphasizes the need for a fairer and more inclusive justice system for women and girls.\n\n\n\nJoin us at Bon Appetit as we hear stories of inspiration from some of our community leaders.\n\nGeneral admission and includes a seated brunch\, access to speakers and a small gift. Men and Women are encouraged to attend.\n\n\n\nGift sponsorship opportunities are still available. Please note that gift sponsorship does not include a ticket\, which must be purchased separately. Her leadership extends beyond the classroom through her service as Chairman of the Board for Dunedin Cares Food Pantry and involvement with several local organizations\, where she continues to uplift and inspire the community.\n\n\n\nNancy Ridenour - Chief Compliance Officer\, Habitat for Humanity\n\nNancy Ridenour currently serves as Chief Compliance Officer for Habitat for Humanity Tampa Bay Gulfside\, following leadership roles including Chief Financial Officer and Chief Strategy Officer. With more than 26 years as a CPA and partner in public accounting\, Nancy brings deep expertise in nonprofit operations\, compliance\, and governance. She has served on boards and audit committees for over two decades and remains strongly mission focused in both her professional and community work.\n\n\n\nCait McVey - Communications Manager\, City of Dunedin\n\nCait McVey serves as Communications Manager for the City of Dunedin\, helping lead efforts to keep residents informed\, engaged\, and connected. After two decades in television news\, Cait transitioned into public service communications\, bringing a strong commitment to truth\, clarity\, and storytelling. Her award winning journalism career includes coverage of major national events\, earning her an Edward R.
