DESCRIPTION:Wednesdays | 6-Week Class\n\nAll levels welcome\n\nYoung artists will love experimenting with a wide range of materials while creating multiple projects in painting\, drawing\, mixed media\, and clay. With individualized guidance\, students will explore the work of influential artists such as Henri Matisse\, Andy Warhol\, and Georgia O'Keeffe\, gaining insight into both realistic and abstract approaches to art.\n\nThroughout the course\, students will learn core concepts including color theory\, proportion\, perspective\, and the elements and principles of art all while practicing true self-expression. By the end of the six weeks\, each student will have created original works across multiple mediums and begun building a small portfolio.\n\nOpen to new and continuing students ages 7 10.
