Slow down and enjoy an inspiring midday break at Coffee & Conversation at Dunedin Fine Art Center, where art, storytelling, and community come together over a great cup of coffee. Sponsored by DFAC’s Sterling Society—with coffee generously provided by Lane’s Lemonade—this relaxed gathering offers an inviting space to connect more deeply with artists and their work.
This session features guest artist Betsy Ore Glass, whose creative path bridges photography, writing, and painting. After a thirty-year career in advertising and broadcasting, Glass rediscovered her artistic voice through freelance photography along the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Her love of nature and coastal life also found expression in her weekly column, Reflections by the Sea, where she blended imagery and storytelling to capture the rhythms of the shore.
Today, Betsy uses her own photography as inspiration for pastel and oil paintings that reflect light, atmosphere, and a deep sense of place. Guided by Curatorial Director Danny Olda, the conversation explores her creative journey, process, and influences, offering insight into how lived experience, observation, and memory shape her work. Thoughtful, informal, and welcoming, Coffee & Conversation is an enriching way to engage with art—and the stories behind it.
