Drawing for Kids with Sara Ratza

Young artists are invited to build confidence and creativity in this fun, exploratory 6-week Monday course designed for ages 8–12. All levels are welcome as students learn to see and draw the world around them—starting with basic shapes and moving into blind contour, gesture drawing, still life, and landscape studies. Using a variety of 2D materials, kids will experiment, problem-solve, and develop foundational drawing skills in a supportive, hands-on environment. Perfect for both new and returning students, this class encourages curiosity, observation, and self-expression while helping young artists grow their visual voice week by week.
