Summer of Steam at The Collection on Palmetto

Visit The Collection on Palmetto on Saturday, June 27th for Summer of Steam. We will operate a steam-powered car and emphasize steam power throughout the day. Cool off inside the museum and see many examples of rare, American Brass Era automobiles. Honk a bulb horn or sit in a century-old American vehicle. Or, step outside for a moment and watch as we steam up a Stanley (starting early at 10:00). You can also shovel coal, blow a steam whistle, and ride a train.The Stanley Steam Car is an American Icon. Don't miss your chance to see one get fired up and actually run. Summer of Steam is a seasonal event in which we emphasize steam power in automobiles and industry in the early 19000s.This program is included with your regular admission and the event will run from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
