This six-week wheel-throwing class introduces students to the fundamentals of working on the pottery wheel while encouraging creativity and personal expression. Students will learn basic throwing techniques and experiment with underglazes, glazes, and non-traditional materials added to clay to create unique ceramic pieces.

Participants will also learn proper studio practices, including wheel setup, operation, and cleanup. Open to new and continuing students ages 11–16, this class balances skill-building with creative exploration in a supportive studio environment.
