Wednesdays | 6-Week Class
All levels welcomeStep away from screens and dive into the magic of hands-on photography. In this immersive darkroom course, students will learn how to create tangible, hand-made gelatin silver photographs using a mix of cutting-edge techniques and time-honored processes that date back more than 100 years.
Students will learn how to load and use a film camera (provided during class), make strong exposures, develop black-and-white film, create proof sheets and contact prints, select the best negatives, and produce traditional silver-gelatin prints using darkroom enlargers.
Designed for students ages 11–16, this small-group class (maximum 8 students) offers focused instruction and an unforgettable introduction to analog photography.
