February is a month of purification, cleansing and renewal, stemming from it's Latin name februum, meaning "to cleanse".  It signifies letting go of the old year's negativity, atoning for mistakes, and preparing for the coming spring.

Key themes for February:

Purification & Cleansing: Transition & New Beginnings - as winter wanes in the Northern Hemisphere, February marks a transition, a pause where action becomes possible after January's rest, leading to fresh starts.
