The Root Agency is Hiring a Part-Time Project Coordinator

We Need a Strong Project Coordinator.  

The Project Coordinator will offer comprehensive support to our dynamic hybrid team. This position requires the ability to anticipate needs, think critically, and engage with team members to create efficiencies and ensure client deliverable due dates are met. Excellent communication and customer service skills are required to effectively navigate, coordinate, and resolve project challenges. We expect our team members to adapt to company and client needs. 

Are You the Right Fit? 

  • 5+ years of Project Coordinator experience with a bachelor’s degree in a relevant major; or an associate’s degree in a relevant major and 7+ years of Project Coordinator experience. A combination of education and experience will be considered. Nonprofit development experience a plus.
  • Experience in building long-lasting relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Must exercise a high-level of confidentiality; be coachable, highly organized, and can execute to meet project deliverable due dates.
  • Exhibits a positive attitude with resiliency and perseverance in working with complex projects.
  • Must be detail and results-oriented with an ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced, and constantly evolving hybrid environment with diverse teams and skill sets.
  • Ability to evaluate priorities and multi-task accordingly, while keeping others apprised of status with respect to firm due dates.
  • Values integrity, altruism, and our philanthropic mission
  • Exhibits excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Provides calendar, scheduling, and file management for our hybrid teams and clients daily
  • Coordinates daily communications via telephone, email, and other software applications used by The Root Agency and our client partners
  • Experience in managing program dashboards
  • Intermediate skills using Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
  • Experience utilizing Apple products and Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Drive, and Forms/Sheets)
  • Experience working with Zoom and other online video conferencing platforms  
  • Experience pulling reports from a variety of CRM platforms: Salesforce, Raiser’s Edge NXT, Bloomerang, Donor Perfect, ParishSoft, etc. a plus
  • PMP and/or Six Sigma Certifications a plus
  • Experience in Asana and Kajabi a plus
  • All other projects/duties as assigned

This Is a Part-Time Position. 

  • The salary for this position is $30 per hour with budgeted performance-based bonuses and opportunity for performance-based promotions.
  • The hours of this position are 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM (20 hours per week) Monday - Friday.
  • After completing the 90-day probationary period this position becomes eligible for:
    • A flexible hybrid schedule
    • 40 hours of PTO (can be used for sick/personal/vacation leave)
    • 8 federal holidays, 1 floating holiday of your choice, and 15 business closure days. This includes TRA business closure the week of Thanksgiving and two weeks at the end of the calendar year.

  • Our headquarters is located at 424 Skinner Blvd, APT A, Dunedin, FL.
  • We currently serve clients nationwide.
  • Our team members are located across the US.
  • Company core hours are from 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Eastern, Monday – Friday.
