About Us

Since 1975, the Dunedin Fine Art Center has been a cornerstone of the region’s cultural landscape. Born from a vision by members of the Junior Service League of Clearwater-Dunedin and supported by the City of Dunedin, DFAC has grown from a 2,000-square-foot facility to a nearly 50,000-square-foot hub for creativity, education, and community engagement.

DFAC offers over 1,000 classes and workshops annually for all ages and skill levels, taught by more than 70 professional teaching artists. Its rotating exhibitions, events, and lectures provide opportunities for learning and inspiration, while the David L. Mason Children’s Art Museum engages young visitors with interactive, hands-on exhibits.

DFAC is committed to inclusion and accessibility, striving to create a welcoming space where people of all backgrounds can connect through the arts. The on-site Palm Café and Gallery Shop feature local art, handcrafted gifts, and refreshments, adding to the visitor experience.

Supported by generous donors, members, and the broader community, DFAC continues to enrich lives through the arts and serves as a vital part of Dunedin’s creative and economic vitality.
